MediTERRE, the network of Mediterranean professionals
of raw earth construction.


All around the Mediterranean basin, professionals have been working for years to promote the use of raw earth in construction: the MediTERRE site wants to highlight this field work and participate in its development by creating a network of Mediterranean professionals of raw earth.


The objectives of MediTERRE:

- to bring together local actors working for the valorisation of earthen architecture around the Mediterranean basin;

- to give more visibility to these actors;

- to provide a platform for raw earth professionals to facilitate exchange, collaboration and communication.

Tadelakt

Tadelakt es una vieja técnica natural que tiene su origen en los artesanos de estuco marroquí, con acabados únicos y en constante evolución. Diseñadores y arquitectos han redescubierto en el Tadelakt una manera plasmar una antigua tradición en la arquitectura moderna. El Tadelakt se aplica en la construcción por sus propiedades: hidrófugas (repelente al agua), y fungicidas (para impedir el crecimiento o eliminar los hongos y mohos), pudiéndose aplicar en interior y exterior.
